
Vittorio Orsenigo
Vittorio Orsenigo was a multifaceted Milanese artist, renowned as a playwright, director, painter, and photographer. Born on August 5, 1926, he initially pursued a business career in his family's industrial enterprise before immersing himself in the artistic scene of post-war Milan. He made his theatrical debut at the Piccolo Teatro in the 1950s, where he directed significant works including Alfred Jarry's 'Ubu Roi' and plays by Bertolt Brecht. While Orsenigo's artistic endeavors spanned various mediums, he became increasingly focused on writing in his later years, publishing several notable works. He passed away at the age of 98 in Milan on March 28, 2025.
