Vivian McIntosh
Vivian McIntosh is a survivor of Hurricane Dorian, which struck The Bahamas in September 2019. She experienced the devastating effects of the hurricane firsthand, as she was trapped in her home with her father and cousin, Freeman Carey, while floodwaters rose to nearly eight feet. Despite the trauma and loss, including the death of her cousin, McIntosh has found a way to cope with her experiences through writing, having recently launched her book 'Anchored… Faith that Held in the Flood.' Her journey reflects resilience and a deep sense of gratitude as she processes the past six years of recovery in her community.
