Vladimir Bariatinsky

Vladimir Bariatinsky, born on December 20, 1874, in Saint Petersburg, was a Russian prince, naval officer, and writer known for his satirical essays and plays. After a distinguished military career, he gained recognition for his literary contributions and is particularly noted for his book 'Le Mystère d’Alexandre Premier.' Bariatinsky became an expatriate in the early 20th century and spent significant time in Europe, eventually settling in the villa Notre-Dame in Saint-Raphaël, where he made considerable improvements to the property.
