Vladimir Dobrovolsky

Vladimir Dobrovolsky was a Russian ethnographer and folklorist who contributed to the understanding of Eastern European folk traditions. His work, particularly the 'Smolensk Ethnographic Collection' published in 1903, included documentation of Belarusian folk songs, which helped to preserve the cultural narratives and practices of the region.
