Vladimir Kehman

Vladimir Kehman is a prominent Russian theater director and the artistic leader of the Mikhailovsky Theatre in Saint Petersburg. He previously served as the general director of the theater from 2007 until 2015, after which he continued as its artistic director. Kehman also took on the role of director at the Moscow Art Theatre (MXAT) in October 2021. His career has been marked by significant productions and leadership in Russian theater, but he has recently been in the news due to allegations of embezzlement related to reconstruction projects at the MXAT, with investigations into financial irregularities during his tenure.
