Vladimir Krpan

Vladimir Krpan (1938-2025) was a distinguished Croatian pianist and educator, known for his extensive career in classical music. He graduated from the Music Academy in Zagreb in 1960 and further honed his skills in Italy under renowned instructors. Krpan had a significant impact on the musical landscape in Croatia, both as a performer and a teacher, mentoring notable pianists. He was celebrated for his versatility, performing a wide repertoire from classical to contemporary music, and was a key figure in the Trio Orlando. His contributions to music were recognized with numerous awards, including the Vladimir Nazor Award for lifetime achievement.
