Vladimir Nikolaev

Vladimir Nikolaev is a former mayor of Vladivostok who has been embroiled in legal troubles related to corruption. He served as the city's mayor from 2004 to 2008, during which time he was accused of misusing his position for personal gain, including the misappropriation of municipal assets. His past includes a conviction for assault in 1999, for which he was sentenced to 3.5 years in prison but was released early due to amnesty.
