Vladimir Tochilo

Vladimir Tochilo is a former mayor of Polotsk, known for launching the career of Natalya Kochanova by inviting her to the city executive committee from her previous role at the water utility. His political tenure was marred by a criminal case related to land allocation near a historic monastery, leading to his arrest in 2012. After compensating for the damages and seeking clemency, he was released in January 2013.
