Vladimir Troitsky
Vladimir Troitsky was a former director of the Orsha Aircraft Repair Plant and the Orsha Instrument Plant in Belarus. He gained notoriety in 2018 when he was sentenced to four years in a high-security prison for abusing his official powers during the construction of an airfield between 2011 and 2013. Troitsky claimed that his legal troubles were part of a conspiracy involving Ukrainian politician Vyacheslav Boguslaev, who was connected to the acquisition of a majority stake in his company. After serving time, Troitsky signed a contract with the Russian army and tragically died in the ongoing war in Ukraine on November 5, 2023.
