Vladimír Uličný

Vladimír Uličný is a dedicated heritage preservationist from Dubnica nad Váhom, Slovakia. With a lifelong passion for Vršatec Castle, he founded the civic association History Slovakia and took the lease of the castle four years ago. Uličný has initiated restoration efforts, tackling the overgrown site single-handedly before enlisting volunteers, including his son, to help stabilize and restore the castle. His commitment to the site’s history is evident as he strives to secure funding for essential architectural and historical research to continue the restoration of this significant cultural landmark.
