Vo Dieu Thanh

Vo Dieu Thanh is a Vietnamese writer and art teacher known for her deep connection to the Mekong Delta region, which is reflected in her literary works. At 50 years old, she has received multiple accolades for her writing, including a first prize in the Thủ Khoa Nghĩa Literature Competition in 1994 and a second prize in the 20-Year-Old Literature Competition in 2010 for her short story collection 'Cô con gái ngỗ ngược.' Her latest book, 'Mùa hoa trên những lối sông,' is a collection of 21 essays that explore the essence of life in the Mekong Delta, celebrating its people and the natural landscape while reflecting on themes of resilience and compassion amidst adversity.
