
Volodymyr Stohnii
Volodymyr Stohnii was a senior lieutenant and commander of the 1st battalion of the 37th separate marine brigade of Ukraine's armed forces. He began his military career in 2015, serving in various combat roles during the Anti-Terrorist Operation (ATO) and subsequently the Joint Forces Operation (JFO). Stohnii was known for his bravery in the field, participating in significant battles for the de-occupation of the right bank of Kherson and the defense of Bakhmut, where he demonstrated exceptional leadership and valor by rescuing injured comrades. He held several command positions, including as commander of a reconnaissance platoon and later a reconnaissance company. Tragically, he lost his life in service, leaving behind a legacy of dedication and heroism.
