Vuk Dapčević was a prominent Serbian filmmaker and cinematographer, born in Belgrade in 1957. He studied, graduated, and obtained his master's degree in cinematography at FAMU in Prague. Throughout his career, he worked as a cameraman for notable media outlets such as RTS and TV Politika, and directed over fifty documentaries and hundreds of television programs. Dapčević also served as the artistic director and editor-in-chief of TV Politika. He was known for his passion for storytelling through film and made significant contributions to the Serbian cinema landscape. He passed away recently, leaving behind a legacy of creativity and collaboration, particularly with his long-term partner Duška Jovanić.
