Włodzimierz Smolarek

Włodzimierz Smolarek was a renowned Polish footballer, known for his exceptional skills as a forward. Born on April 17, 1957, in Poland, he made significant contributions to both his national team and various clubs, most notably during his time at the Dutch club Feyenoord and the Polish side Widzew Łódź. Smolarek was an integral part of the Polish national team that competed in the 1982 FIFA World Cup, where Poland finished in third place. After retiring from professional football, he transitioned into a coaching role and remained involved in the sport until his passing in 2012.
