W. J. Rukshan

W. J. Rukshan is a wildlife conservation officer involved in managing and protecting natural reserves in Sri Lanka. He recently gained attention for his efforts to control a rapidly spreading fire in the Nallathanniya Samana Natural Reserve, which was exacerbated by dry weather conditions. Rukshan has been coordinating with military personnel and local officials to combat the blaze and has called for support from the air force to ensure the fire is contained.
