Wairangi Koopu

Wairangi Koopu is a former professional rugby league player from New Zealand who played as a center and winger. He is notable for his time with the New Zealand Warriors and Melbourne Storm, as well as representing the Kiwis in international matches. After retiring from football, Koopu transitioned into broadcasting, becoming a freelance broadcaster and a familiar face on various television programs. He has been in the news for recently facing drug charges, to which he has pleaded not guilty, with a trial set for June 2027.
