Walburga Monaghan

Walburga Monaghan, affectionately known as Burga, is one of Ireland's oldest residents, born on November 30, 1918. She has lived through significant historical events, including both World Wars, and is known for her sharp mind and good health, often engaging in crossword puzzles. Monaghan attributes her longevity to her upbringing and a life of hard work, remaining active in her community and family, which includes 13 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
