
Walter Arízala
Walter Arízala, also known by his alias Guacho, was a Colombian guerrilla and leader of a dissident faction of the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC). He gained notoriety for his violent activities in Ecuador, particularly related to drug trafficking and organized crime. Arízala was involved in multiple criminal acts, including a car bomb attack in San Lorenzo, Ecuador, in 2018, which resulted in significant casualties and damage. He was ultimately killed by Colombian forces in December 2018, but his actions have had a lasting impact on the security situation in the region.
