Walter Model

Walter Model was a prominent German field marshal during World War II, known for his defensive tactics on the Eastern Front. He commanded Army Group B and was involved in key battles, including the Battle of the Bulge. Model's refusal to obey Hitler's orders and his decision to surrender his forces in 1945 marked the end of significant German resistance in the West.
