Walter Ralegh

An English explorer, soldier, and writer, Walter Ralegh was a prominent figure in the Elizabethan era known for his expeditions to the Americas and his attempts to establish a colony in Virginia. He is often credited with popularizing tobacco in England and is remembered for his adventurous spirit and tragic downfall, culminating in his execution in 1618.
