Walter Solís Valarezo

Walter Solís Valarezo is a former Ecuadorian Minister of Transport and Public Works who recently gained attention when he was overruled in a case related to alleged embezzlement during the Reconstruction of Manabí, following the 2016 earthquake. He is currently living in Mexico as a refugee and has been implicated in other corruption cases, including the 'Sobornos 2012-2016' scandal, for which he has received multiple sentences.
