Walter Yaipén Uypán

Walter Yaipén Uypán is a prominent Peruvian musician and one half of the popular cumbia group Hermanos Yaipén. Celebrating 25 years in the music industry, Walter has led the group to notable success, including a recent collaboration with Venezuelan singer José Luis Rodríguez, known as 'El Puma', on the iconic song 'Tendría que llorar por ti'. His journey in music began with Grupo 5, and after a personal tragedy, he and his brother Javier formed Hermanos Yaipén, which has since become a symbol of cultural pride and perseverance in the Peruvian music scene.
