Wanda Hjort
Wanda Hjort was a Norwegian resistance fighter during World War II, known for her courageous efforts to assist prisoners in Nazi concentration camps. At just 21 years old, she embarked on a daring mission from her internment in Germany to provide aid to those suffering in Sachsenhausen, ultimately becoming one of Norway's prominent war heroes. Her life story was recently brought to light in a book by her son, Anders Heger.
