Wang Liqin

Wang Liqin is a retired Chinese table tennis player who is regarded as one of the greatest players in the sport's history. He won three World Championships and was known for his powerful forehand and exceptional footwork. After retiring from professional play, he transitioned into coaching and was appointed president of the Chinese Table Tennis Association, a role he took on following the resignation of Liu Guoliang. His leadership comes at a time when Chinese table tennis is facing new challenges, particularly following the unexpected defeat of its players in recent international competitions.
