Wang Youshou

Wang Youshou is the village head of Maona Village in Hainan Province, China. He played a pivotal role in transforming the village’s agricultural practices by embracing sustainable techniques, particularly the 'forest-tea co-cultivation' model, which integrates tea cultivation with the preservation of the tropical rainforest ecosystem. Under his leadership, the community has shifted from struggling with poverty to achieving economic stability through high-quality tea production.
