Wangechi Kahuria

Wangechi Kahuria is the executive director of the Independent Medico-Legal Unit, an NGO that monitors human rights abuses and tracks killings during protests in Kenya. She has been vocal about the need for accountability and justice for the victims of police brutality, especially during recent protests marking the anniversary of violent demonstrations that resulted in fatalities.
