Warmarida, a 58-year-old resident of Kahyapu village in Enggano, has lived on the island since childhood after her family moved there in the 1970s. Despite facing challenges due to the recent disruption of the Bengkulu-Enggano ferry service, she remains grateful for the improvements in infrastructure and daily life on the island compared to decades past.
