Waruna Jayasundara

Waruna Jayasundara is a Senior Deputy Inspector General of Police in Sri Lanka, recognized for his efforts in addressing child protection issues. Recently, he highlighted the alarming statistic that 304 children under the age of 16 in the Eastern Province were victims of sexual abuse in the past year.
