Waseem Ajmal Chaudhry

Waseem Ajmal Chaudhry is the Secretary for Food Security in Pakistan, responsible for overseeing the Ministry of National Food Security. Recently, he was in the news due to his appearance before the Public Accounts Committee, where he faced criticism for audit irregularities and unlawful hiring practices within the ministry, notably at the Pakistan Central Cotton Committee and the Pakistan Agricultural Research Council. Chaudhry assured the committee of efforts to recover mismanaged funds and address the issues raised, including a restructuring plan involving the merger of the PCCC into PARC.
