Weeris Amrapal

Weeris Amrapal is the Governor of the State Railway of Thailand (SRT), known for his leadership in advancing Thailand's railway infrastructure. He has been actively involved in the development of the high-speed rail project connecting Bangkok to Nong Khai, a significant collaboration between Thailand and China. Under his guidance, the SRT is focusing on public-private partnerships (PPP) to enhance investment efficiency and introduce new technologies in railway management and maintenance. Recently, he chaired a public consultation to gather feedback on the project, which aims to facilitate the bidding process and improve transportation services across the region.
