Wei Chun-chieh

Wei Chun-chieh is the chairman of Yuqing Temple in Miaoli County, Taiwan, a significant religious center that has pioneered green religious rituals. Under his leadership, the temple became the first in Taiwan to ban the burning of joss paper in 2001 in response to community complaints about air quality, promoting environmentally friendly practices in worship.
