Weronika Somerville

Weronika Somerville is a 25-year-old woman from Prestonpans near Edinburgh who, after undergoing brain surgery to remove a tumor at the age of 14, lost all her childhood memories due to a rare complication known as retrograde amnesia. Despite this significant challenge, she has worked hard to rebuild her life, re-learning essential skills and adapting to her new reality. Recently, she underwent a second surgery to remove a growing tumor, and thankfully, this time she retained her memory. Weronika married her fiancé Cameron in December, and she expresses profound gratitude to the surgeons who have played a crucial role in her recovery.
