
Wigner Jenő
Wigner Jenő (1902-1995), known as Eugene Wigner, was a Hungarian-American physicist and Nobel laureate recognized for his contributions to the field of quantum mechanics and nuclear physics. He was instrumental in the development of the first nuclear reactor and made significant contributions to the understanding of the behavior of atomic nuclei. Wigner was also a strong proponent of the peaceful use of nuclear energy and received the Nobel Prize in Physics in 1963.
