Wilhelmina Wylie

Wilhelmina 'Mina' Wylie was a pioneering Australian swimmer who won a silver medal in the 100 meters at the 1912 Olympics in Stockholm, becoming one of the first female Olympians from Australia. She was honored with a blue plaque at Wylie’s Baths in Coogee, a swimming pool built by her father, recognizing her contributions to women's swimming and her legacy in Australian sports history.
