William B S Kollie serves as the National Traditional Liaison Officer of Liberia and has publicly condemned any attempts by the United Methodist Church in Liberia to endorse same-sex marriage. He has reiterated that such practices are not supported by the Liberian constitution and expressed the traditional chiefs' opposition to the acceptance of gayism in the church.
