William Batista

William Batista is a Brazilian football manager, currently serving as the head coach of América-MG. At just 31 years old, he has already experienced a journey filled with both challenges and triumphs. After a difficult period in 2017 where he struggled to find a coaching position and even worked as an Uber driver, Batista found solace in his passion for football. He began his coaching career in youth teams, eventually leading the América-MG U20 team to a state championship victory in 2021. His recent success includes guiding América-MG to the final of the Campeonato Mineiro, marking a pivotal moment in his career after eliminating the well-regarded rival Cruzeiro in the semifinals.
