William Cisilino
William Cisilino is an Italian professor born in 1974 in Udine, recognized for his dedication to the preservation and promotion of minority languages in Europe, particularly the Friulian language. He has held various positions, including director of the regional agency for the Friulian language since 2011, where he implements policies to enhance the use and recognition of this language. Recently, he was awarded the 34th International Ramon Llull Prize for his contributions to Catalan linguistic and cultural diversity.
