William Hegenbarth

William Hegenbarth was a German architect known for his contributions to the architectural landscape in Central America, particularly in Honduras. He is most notable for designing the historic building of La Aduana in La Ceiba, which was constructed in 1917. This building has served various functions over the years and is currently undergoing restoration to become the Casa de la Cultura de La Ceiba, a long-awaited cultural center for the community.
