William Mel Curth

William Mel Curth is a teaching assistant at the University of Oklahoma who became embroiled in controversy after giving a student a zero on an assignment that included religious viewpoints on gender norms. Curth, who uses she/they pronouns, was placed on administrative leave pending investigation into allegations of viewpoint discrimination after a protest was organized advocating for their return to the classroom.
