Willinton Henao

Willinton Henao, also known by his alias 'Mocho Olmedo', is a prominent figure in the Colombian conflict, serving as the second-in-command of the 'frente 33' dissidents of the Farc. He has been reported to have significant influence in the northeastern region of Colombia, particularly in Catatumbo, an area marked by violent clashes between various armed groups. Recently, he made headlines after voluntarily surrendering to authorities in Colombia in response to a U.S. extradition order, following a tumultuous period of conflict that has resulted in extensive humanitarian crises, including the displacement of over 55,000 individuals.
