Willis Austin Chimano

Willis Austin Chimano is a prominent member of the Kenyan Afropop band Sauti Sol, often regarded as Africa's biggest boy band. He made headlines after being outed as gay in 2018, becoming the first pop star in Kenya to publicly confront his sexuality, which sparked widespread vitriol and backlash due to the country's strong anti-LGBTQ+ sentiments.
