
Wilmot Smith
Wilmot Smith is the former deputy director for information and coordination at the Liberia Institute for Statistics and Geo Information Services (LISGIS). He has recently been implicated in a significant corruption case involving the alleged embezzlement of over US$1.7 million in public funds. Smith has denied the charges, which include economic sabotage and fraud, and is currently outside Liberia for medical reasons while facing legal proceedings regarding an arrest warrant issued in his absence.
