Wolfgang Winter

Wolfgang Winter is a former manager of SBB's Elvetino catering services, who was convicted for his involvement in a significant fraud scheme where he and his associates exploited the company for personal gain. In October 2024, he was sentenced to three years in prison for misusing the SBB subsidiary as a 'self-service shop', engaging in corrupt practices including kickbacks and overpricing, which severely undermined public trust in the railway's management.
