Wu Jong-shinn is the Director-General of the Taiwan Space Agency (TASA), responsible for the development of environmental monitoring satellites. He recently stated that TASA aims to launch the first satellite within three years as part of a program to monitor air pollution and greenhouse gases, with the goal of making Taiwan's satellite capabilities the most advanced in Asia.
