Xavier Alexander Novillo Arana

Xavier Alexander Novillo Arana, also known by the alias Novi or Novita, is a notable figure implicated in the Metástasis case, a major criminal investigation in Ecuador that examines a network allegedly led by drug trafficker Leandro Norero. In November 2024, he received a ten-year prison sentence, the maximum penalty for his involvement in an organized crime syndicate that sought to manipulate the justice system.
