Xavier ffrench-O’Carroll was a French diplomat who served as the equivalent of the ambassador to Ireland during the 1940s. He is best known as the father of Renée ffrench-O’Carroll, who inherited property in Dublin, including a significant Georgian house, from him as a wedding gift.
