Xenia Karelina

Xenia Karelina is a Russian-American who was imprisoned in Russia for alleged treason after fundraising for a Ukrainian aid organization while residing in Los Angeles. She was accused of undermining Russian security by raising $52 for a group that reportedly provided material to Ukrainian forces. Karelina was recently pardoned by President Vladimir Putin shortly before her scheduled release.
