Xènia Monter is a 14-year-old student from Andorra la Vella, currently studying in the third year of secondary education at the Andorran School of Santa Coloma. Known for her curiosity and passion for trying new things, she initiated a research project that was selected for the annual Young Scientists' Day organized by the Ministry of Institutional Relations, Education and Universities and the Andorran National Commission for UNESCO. Her project focuses on the importance of recycling medications, highlighting the environmental consequences of improper disposal, including the potential extinction of species and disturbances in local ecosystems. Through her investigation, Xènia has learned valuable lessons about perseverance and the significance of scientific inquiry.
