Xia Feng

Xia Feng is a researcher at the Marxism College of Hainan University, actively involved in the development of the Hainan Free Trade Port. Since moving to Hainan in 2006, he has witnessed significant changes brought about by the deepening of reform and opening up policies. With the upcoming full closure of the island's borders set for December 18, 2023, Xia is focused on conducting research and providing insights that support the strategic goals of the free trade port. He engages with local communities through extensive outreach and educational initiatives, aiming to enhance public understanding of the port's policies and benefits. His commitment is to cultivate a talented workforce dedicated to the development of the free trade port while fostering a strong sense of civic duty and international perspective among his students.
