Xie Min, originally from Chicago, USA, is now a designer and shop owner in Haikou, Hainan. She runs a store called 'Island Fun' where she showcases traditional Li brocade products made by local artisans. With a deep passion for the craft, Xie has traveled extensively across Hainan to learn about Li textile production techniques and has become an advocate for the artisans, helping to create sustainable income opportunities through her business.
